April 13, 2024: Raleigh, MS 39153 The Raleigh Lions got by the visiting Meridian Wildcats baseball team by a count of 9-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host Quitman for a non-league bout on Monday, April 15. Raleigh will face a Panthers team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 13-9.
Next, the Wildcats face the Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS) in a 7A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Meridian will attempt to move on its 2-23 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 3-17 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS).
