The Sunnyslope Vikings volleyball team (Phoenix, AZ), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ)

The Hawks (15-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Gilbert was edged by Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ), 3-1, in a league challenge.
