Louisiana High School Softball - Barbe can't get by Slidell
April 13, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70605 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) softball team held off the host Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Slidell moves its record to 27-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to play the Green Wave in a 5A District 6 contest on Tuesday, April 16. The Green Wave come into the contest with a record of 22-7. Ponchatoula won 19-0 in their recent league contest against Hammond (Hammond, LA)
