Texas High School Softball - Bullard gets by Franklin
April 13, 2024: Bullard, TX 75757 The Bullard Panthers got by the visiting Franklin Lions softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region III District 18 battle with a 19-11 record. In their last battle, Rusk was edged by Hudson (Lufkin, TX), 10-2, in a league battle.
The Lions now possess a 29-2 record. They play next when they travel to Teague for a 3A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Franklin will meet a Lions squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-8.
