Minnesota High School Softball - Eden Prairie holds off Zimmerman
April 13, 2024: Eden Prairie, MN 55346 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) and the visiting Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), saw Eden Prairie's softball squad nip Zimmerman by a count of 5-3.
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Edina for a Lake match on Monday, April 15. Eden Prairie will face a Hornets squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Zimmerman falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Big Lake (Big Lake, MN) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 16. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 1-3. Big Lake lost 14-3 in their recent league match against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN)
