The Eskymos now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Negaunee for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23.
With the loss, Wayland falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, April 15.
