Missouri High School Softball - Green Ridge holds off Windsor
April 13, 2024: Windsor, MO 65360 Green Ridge Tigers (Green Ridge, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Windsor Greyhounds (Windsor, MO), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Butler for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Green Ridge will face a Bears squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Versailles (Versailles, MO). The Bears record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Windsor falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO) to face the Mules in a Class 2 District 8 challenge on Monday, April 15. The Mules enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Lone Jack won 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Midway (Cleveland, MO)
