April 13, 2024: Lake Villa, IL 60046 The Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) softball routed the host Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), 7-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen go into the Suburban Prairie - South bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Joliet Central was routed by Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 16-0, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grayslake Central for a Northern Lake County bout on Tuesday, April 16. Lakes will confront a Rams squad coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Rams record now stands at 8-4.
