Michigan High School Softball - Portland bounces Swartz Creek
April 13, 2024: Portland, MI 48875 Portland Raiders (Portland, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Swartz Creek Dragons (Swartz Creek, MI), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ionia for a Capital Area - White challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Portland will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Swartz Creek falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI) to battle the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Marauders enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Ovid-Elsie lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Dansville (Dansville, MI)
