Albertus Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), 14-11 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Albertus Magnus upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Falcons host Clarkstown North (New City, NY) to play the Rams in a Section 1 III - C game on Tuesday, April 14. The Rams enter the game with a record of 2-2. Clarkstown North won 19-5 in their recent non-league game against Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY)

The Garnets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eastchester for a Section 1 I - B game on Wednesday, April 15. Rye will play a Eagles squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Harrison (Harrison, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
