The James Island Trojans got by the host Colleton County Cougars baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bluffton for a AAAA Region 7 bout on Monday, April 19. James Island will face a Bobcats team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-5.

Next, the Cougars face the Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 15. Colleton County will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Dolphins enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 15-0 league loss to Hanahan (Hanahan, SC).
