Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) and the host Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA), saw Sun Valley's baseball squad knock off Kennett by a count of 8-4.

Coming up next, the Vanguards play the East Vikings (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont battle, on Friday, April 16. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 6-4 league loss to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA).

The Blue Demons now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont battle on Thursday, April 15. Kennett will play a Cougars squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Henderson (West Chester, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
