April 14, 2022: Tarpon Springs, FL 34688 The East Lake Eagles routed the visiting Plant Panthers softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Largo (Largo, FL). The Packers go into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record.
The Panthers now sport a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Alonso for a 7A District 7 outing on Tuesday, April 19. Plant will encounter a Ravens team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Ravens record now stands at 8-9.
