April 14, 2023: Honea Path, SC 29654 Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Paul VI upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Panthers host Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to battle the Knights in a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, April 18. The Knights come into the test with a record of 12-6. Bishop O'Connell won 7-1 in their recent league test against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA)
With the defeat, Belton-Honea Path falls to 2-2 on the season. The Bears host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to battle the Hurricanes in a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 12-5. Wren lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC)
