April 14, 2023: Blaine, WA 98230 Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Blaine upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Borderites host Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to battle the Pioneers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 18. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-6. Nooksack Valley lost 10-5 in their recent league test against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA)
With the defeat, Sedro-Woolley falls to 4-4 on the season. The Cubs host Lynden (Lynden, WA) to battle the Lions in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 18. The Lions come into the test with a record of 5-4. Lynden won 14-4 in their recent league test against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
