Kansas High School Baseball - Blue Valley Southwest defeats Lee's Summit
April 14, 2023: Overland Park, KS 66062 Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO), 11-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Blue Valley Southwest upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Timberwolves host Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-6. Blue Valley North lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO)
Next, the Tigers face the Park Hill South Panthers (Riverside, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 17. Lee's Summit will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 7-6 league win over Liberty (Liberty, MO).
