Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Warren Township upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to battle the Bears in a North Suburban test on Monday, April 17.
