In Friday's non-league game, the host Scranton Knights baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Pocono Mountain West Panthers.

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Cavaliers go into the Lackawanna 1 game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Scranton Prep was edged by St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), 17-9, in a non-league game.
