In Friday's non-league contest, the La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) volleyball squad edged the host Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 15. La Jolla will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 16-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA).

The Diamondbacks now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Birmingham for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 15. Desert Oasis will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-8.
