Maine High School Lacrosse - Massabesic drops to Freeport
April 14, 2023: Waterboro, ME 04087 Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), 11-5 in a non-league test.
The Falcons now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Region for a Class C test on Friday, April 21.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) in a Class A South test, on Thursday, April 20. Massabesic will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 18-15 non-league loss to Cheverus (Portland, ME).
