Virginia High School Soccer - Meridian knocks off Liberty
April 14, 2023: Bealeton, VA 22712 The Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) soccer bounced the host Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 5-0 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Meridian moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. The Huskies enter the bout with a record of 5-1. Tuscarora won 4-3 in their recent league bout against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA)
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Liberty will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).
