April 14, 2023: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Sunny Hills will battle a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Yorba Linda falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Brea Olinda (Brea, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-10.
