In Friday's non-league contest, the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) lacrosse squad routed the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a count of 23-0.

Coming up next, the Cadets confront the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) in a WVSLA -DI West contest, on Wednesday, April 19. Linsly will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Maroon Knights come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 12-5 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).

The Knights now own a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson County for a WVSLA -DII East contest on Saturday, April 15. Preston will confront a Wild squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Wild record now stands at 0-8.
