Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bells Panthers (Bells, TX), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 13-14 record.

With the loss, Bells falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gunter (Gunter, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 11 challenge on Friday, April 21. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-5.
