New York High School Softball - Charlotte Valley bounces Jefferson Central
April 14, 2023: Jefferson, NY 12093 The Charlotte Valley Wildcats (Davenport, NY) softball routed the host Jefferson Central Jayhawks (Jefferson, NY), 24-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Afton (Afton, NY). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Afton was routed by Harpursville (Harpursville, NY), 27-12, in a league bout.
The Jayhawks now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Gilboa-Conesville Central for a Section 4 Delaware County - Delaware Mountain challenge on Monday, April 17. Jefferson Central will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-17 league win over South Kortright Central (South Kortright, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
