April 14, 2023: Duncan, SC 29334 The James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) softball the visiting Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN), 4-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rebels (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Demons go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Lugoff-Elgin held off Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Science Hill for a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. Unicoi County will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-11.
