Indiana High School Softball - North Montgomery nudges Sheridan

North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargin' Chargers now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covington for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. North Montgomery will face a Trojans squad coming off a 14-7 league win over Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Sheridan falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Eastern (Greentown, IN) to face the Comets in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 7-1.
