In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Blacksburg Bruins baseball team scored a close 20-15 win over the Auburn Eagles.

The Bruins (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights go into the River Ridge game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Cave Spring was overwhelmed by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 15-4, in a league game.
