In Monday's non-league game, the host Mitchell Mountaineers baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders.

The Mountaineers (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 6-10 record.

Next, the Crusaders play the Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC) in a game, on Tuesday, April 15. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 1-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Alexander Christian Academy (Hickory, NC).
