April 14, 2025: Markesan, WI 53946 The Cambridge Bluejays baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Markesan Hornets to 5 in the Bluejays non-league win on Monday.
The Bluejays now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Poynette for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Cambridge will play a Pumas team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over New Glarus (New Glarus, WI). The Pumas record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Markesan drops to 3-4 on the year. The Hornets host Rio (Rio, WI) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 0-2. Rio lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI)
