The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) and the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), saw Corinth Holders's baseball team beat Southwest Guilford by a margin of 10-0.

The Pirates (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, New Hanover was overwhelmed by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Southwest Guilford drops to 13-5 on the year. The Cowboys host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Union Pines lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC)
