April 14, 2025: Crossett, AR 71635 The Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR) baseball trounced the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), 13-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Star City for a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Crossett will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-7 non-league win over McGehee (McGehee, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
With the defeat, River Oaks drops to 14-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Union Christian Academy (Farmerville, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Union Christian Academy lost 15-11 in their recent league challenge against Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA)
