In Monday's league game, the visiting Halifax Wildcats baseball team scored a close 1-0 win over the Susquenita Blackhawks.

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Newport (Newport, PA). The Buffaloes go into the Tri-Valley game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Newport nudged Line Mountain (Herndon, PA), 2-0, in a league game.

Next, the Blackhawks play the Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) in a Tri-Valley game, on Wednesday, April 16. Susquenita will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 7-6 league loss to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA).
