The Taft Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting McLane Highlanders to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minarets for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Taft will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Dinuba (Dinuba, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-10.

With the defeat, McLane drops to 10-11 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Fowler (Fowler, CA) to play the Redcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Redcats go into the test with a record of 11-2. Fowler won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA)
