The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) and the visiting Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams (Confluence, PA), saw North Star's baseball team gain a win over Turkeyfoot Valley Area by a tally of 8-1.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Windber (Windber, PA). The Ramblers enter the Inter-County - West battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Windber held off Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA), 9-7, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rams face the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Turkeyfoot Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
