Virginia High School Baseball - Orange County holds off Rappahannock County
April 14, 2025: Orange, VA 22960 The Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) baseball the visiting Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 10-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Fighting Hornets now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a Jefferson challenge on Thursday, April 17. Orange County will clash with a Flying Flucos team coming off a 10-9 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Rappahannock County drops to 6-5 on the year. The host Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to clash with the Falcons in a Bull Run challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Central Woodstock won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA)
