The Platt Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Simsbury Trojans to 4 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.

The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cromwell for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Platt will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Simsbury drops to 1-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hall (West Hartford, CT) to play the Titans in a Central Connecticut - West test on Wednesday, April 16. The Titans go into the test with a record of 2-2.
