April 14, 2025: Newark, NJ 07107 Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Payne Tech improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Orange (Orange, NJ) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 4-3. Orange won 2-1 in their recent league test against Barringer (Newark, NJ)
The Lions now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Ridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Immaculate Conception will face a Ridgers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Side (Newark, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 7-2.
