April 14, 2025: Sparta, NJ 07871 Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ), 13-10 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Sparta advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans host Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 4-2. Voorhees won 11-7 in their recent non-league battle against Montgomery (Skillman, NJ)
The Mounties now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. Montclair will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
