Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), 8-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Allegany improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Campers host Petersburg (Petersburg, WV) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Petersburg won 10-7 in their recent non-league bout against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)

In their next game, the Sentinels clash with the Northern Garrett Huskies (Accident, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Fort Hill will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record.
