The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV) and the host Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), observed Berkeley Springs's softball team get by Hancock by a tally of 8-7.

The Indians (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado go into the Potomac Valley bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Keyser was nipped by Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 12-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 15. Hancock will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The come into the outing with a 57-95 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID).
