In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Edison Eagles.

The Mustangs (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association was nipped by St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
