Washington High School Softball - Capital bounces Lincoln
April 14, 2025: Olympia, WA 98502 The Capital Cougars softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Abes to 5 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.
The Cougars now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tenino for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. Capital will confront a Beavers team coming off a 21-2 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, WA). The Beavers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 2-8 on the season. The Abes host Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA) to confront the Lions in a 3A Pierce County battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 1-9. Bellarmine Prep lost 8-6 in their recent non-league battle against Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA)
