Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN), 5-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Triton Central improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers host Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, April 17. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-4. Heritage Christian lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN)

The Royals now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Warren Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. Eastern Hancock will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
