In Monday's league test, the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), by a tally of 9-1.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Quincy will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).

The Silver Streaks (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big 6 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Moline was routed by Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 6-5, in a league test.
