The Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) softball routed the host Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 11-3 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Lancers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clairemont for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 16. Hilltop will encounter a Chieftains team coming off a 4-3 league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Montgomery moves to 11-8 on the season. The Aztecs host Sweetwater (National City, CA) to encounter the Red Devils in a Metro Pacific outing on Tuesday, April 15.
