The Ithaca Yellowjackets overwhelmed the visiting Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Ithaca will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Heritage (Saginaw, MI).

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against All Saints Central (Bay City, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, All Saints Central toppled Mayville (Mayville, MI), 13-3, in a non-league challenge.
