Vermont High School Softball - Leland & Gray bounces Long Trail
April 14, 2025: Townshend, VT 05353 The Leland & Gray Rebels softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Long Trail to 4 in the Rebels non-league win on Monday.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor for a SVL C battle on Wednesday, April 16. Leland & Gray will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Long Trail moves to 0-2 on the season. The host Springfield (Springfield, VT) to confront the Cosmos in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Cosmos come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Springfield won 17-5 in their recent non-league battle against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
