New York High School Softball - Oneida bounces Vernon-Verona-Sherrill
April 14, 2025: Verona, NY 13478 In Monday's league match, the visiting Oneida Express softball team scored a nice 28-10 win over the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils.
The Express (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Chittenango (Chittenango, NY). The Bears come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Chittenango notched a victory over Liverpool (Liverpool, NY), 3-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley match, on Tuesday, April 15. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Knights come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 25-1 non-league loss to Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY).
