Covington Academy Bulldogs (Covington, GA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA), 21-20 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Covington Academy advances its record to 4-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 16. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Young Americans Christian lost 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Peoples Baptist Academy (McDonough, GA)

The Lions now possess a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peachtree Academy for a GAPPS I-A Region 2 contest on Friday, April 17. Trinity Prep will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Community Christian (Stockbridge, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.
